First prize winner returns to Petrolia

When Regina Gudelis sits down to paint, she doesn’t always know where the brushstrokes are going to take her, but just being in front of a canvas always manages to pull something out of her. She describes her artwork as expressive and abstract, it is emotional and created from in the inside out.

Second show added after selling out

It’s an eerie tale most locals will remember from childhood – a family of outcasts massacred by an armed mob made up of their own neighbours, the Black Donnellys of Lucan, Ontario had quite the reputation, and still do.

Artist inspired by life

Mark McLean has travelled by motorcycle across Canada and America, including the Yukon and southern states, taking in sights along the way that he later translates onto canvas.
