Local Chef Glenn Sheridan achieves high honours with CAA's Four Diamond Status

Local Chef Glenn Sheridan, Executive Chef of The Red Pump in Bayfield, Ontario achieved Four Diamond Status last year for his culinary expertise.

You may or may not be aware that each year CAA releases a list of restaurants which have achieved various levels of Diamond Status. This past summer, CAA rated Chef Sheridan's food and The Red Pump Restaurant, giving them a Four Diamond Status. Glenn has been in this industry, pursing his passion for cooking and delivering fine dining fare, for 30 years. To have achieved this status, which has been a goal of his for many years, after only working at The Red Pump Restaurant for three years, is an achievement worth celebrating. Glenn is originally from Alvinston and has lived in South Western Ontario for the last five years, two of which were in Petrolia.

The Red Pump has been owned by Harry Isreal since 1972. This spring Harry will be celebrating his 45th year of operation. The Red Pump opens for the season on Easter Weekend. Come on by and enjoy some delicious food and say hello to Chef Sheridan.
